The Blogger Recognition Award 🌟

Hello fellow bloggers! 🌟

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to ‘That curly girly‘ for nominating me for the Blogger recognition award! I am honoured to have been chosen by you and super excited! Apologies for how long it’s taken me to actually post this! But here we go! 🌟

The Rules:

  • Thank the Blogger who nominated you and leave a link to their blog.
  • Write a post to show your award.
  • Give a brief story on how your blog started.
  • Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  • Select 15 other bloggers you want to nominate for this award.
  • Comment on each blog to let them know they have been nominated.
  • Provide them with the link to the post you created.

How my blog started 🌟

Blogging was something I’d thought about for a good year or so. I’d always followed a few different fashion bloggers and thought how fun it would be to start my own! When I left university in the summer I realised I’d now have time to focus on things I’d always wanted to try. I spent a few months pondering about starting one and worrying if it would be any good. I then came across Janni Delér‘s blog and could not get over how amazing her blog was and how awesome she is! I remember thinking, wow I really really want to start my own blog now. Janni was my inspiration and in November I finally plucked up the courage to set my new blog up! It’s such a fun thing for me to focus on and I love using my blog to share outfit ideas and my favourite looks. I love sharing my passion for fashion ❤

Advice to new bloggers 🌟

To all new bloggers out there I would say stick at it. I’m still quite new to blogging myself and sometimes I don’t always have time to be very active on here, or I’ll doubt myself and think ‘Oh gosh is this any good?’ But I’ve realised that kind of stuff doesn’t really matter. If you enjoy it and you’re passionate about something, blog about it! Whenever you want, about whatever you want! Just go for it and keep going 😁

My second piece of advice would be, try and be as interactive with other bloggers as you can ☺️ Everyone I have come across on WordPress is so lovely and encouraging. It’s a proper community so the more you get involved the better your experience of blogging will be! When I have chance I like to spend time catching up on peoples posts and commenting my thoughts. Be supportive, kind and enjoy! WordPress is awesome 🌟

Accessorising with Neck Ties – Second Look 💗

Hello lovely people!

Here is my second neck tie look!

This look is a lot less bold than yesterdays and has much softer tones to it. Todays bandana is silk and a gorgeous peachy/pinky colour. This demonstrates how versatile bandanas can be – you can go for bold ones to make a statement (see yesterdays post), or you can choose more subtle colours that blend in with your outfit. This bandana really adds a ‘chic’ vibe to this look.

Another reason i’m loving this accessory is because I love choker necklaces so much and this is essentially the same thing! However, it gives a much softer feel than some of my bold chokers which is a nice change.

What do you lovely people think of today’s accessory? Do you love bandana’s and their versatility as much as I do?

Big Hugs, Grace xx

Accessorising with neck ties – First look❤️

img_5070

Hello lovelies!

Todays blog post is about how accessories can add so so much to your look. Take this bandana for example. I have used it as a neck tie rather than a headband and I am totally obsessed with how it looks! With off the shoulder tops I sometimes feel like my neck looks too bare haha and thats where the idea of wearing a neck tie came from. I have seen fellow bloggers wear them and have always loved how they look! I finally tried it out and feel like it completes my outfit, especially when wearing things where my neck/part of my chest is exposed. For me, this neck tie is that one statement accessory that I now probably won’t be able to live without!

How cute is my belt too? The bandana and belt are giving me huge western vibes today haha!

What do guys you think of this accessory?

Tomorrow I’ll be posting another ‘bandana neck tie’ look! Keep your eyes peeled!

Big Hugs, Grace xx

Flared Sleeves 💗

Hey Beauties! 🌟

I am in LOVE with my new top from Missguided! Just look at those flared sleeves! I love everything about this top, the colour, the cropped style, the ribbed material, and did I mention the sleeves? Haha!

I put this top with my white cigarette trousers from missguided. I think the mauve and white colours compliment each other perfectly✨ For shoes I went with my Zara babies – Four years old but still going strong!
